MARSHALL COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION
CONGRATULATES ONE OF ITS OWN IN OBTAINING CCIE
ASHBURN, VA. - September 2006 - Marshall Communications Corporation (MARSHALL) is pleased to announce that one of its Systems Integration Engineers has obtained the status of CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), Paul D. Dardinski. Paul has joined the ranks of the highly skilled, networking professionals who achieve the status of CCIE by Cisco Systems, headquartered in San Jose, CA. CCIE is Cisco's highest level of professional certification, in which less than 3% of all Cisco certified professionals earn this prestigious IT ranking.
Mr. Dardinski's certification is in one of five Cisco tracks; Routing and Switching. The CCIE Routing and Switching exam covers IP & IR routing, non-IP desktop protocols, such as IPX, and bridge switch related technologies. The exam consisted of two stages: 1) a 2-hour computer-based written test; and 2) a full day hands-on practical lab. Paul's diligence in obtaining his CCIE has puts him in an elite group of individuals, with only 13,602 active CCIEs worldwide (as of August 1, 2006). The CCIE is recognized as the most respected high level of certifications in the industry.
Mr. Dardinski has been a Senior Network Architect with MARSHALL since 2003; and has provided valuable engineering expertise to many of MARSHALL's DoD and Non-DoD systems integration projects including the USCENTCOM DVB-RCS Project. Paul's CCIE credentials recognizes him as an individual of advanced internetworking technical know-how in a rapidly growing technical arena. "We are extremely pleased with Paul's accomplishment. This is truly a testament to his fortitude, discipline, and ability to 'keep his eye on the prize'. I equate this to the level of effort it takes in earning a PHD. We are all proud that he is on our team!" commented Sonny Marshall, President & CEO.
